2025-26 Topps Basketball Checklist Guide

2025-26 Topps Basketball marks a historic moment as Topps returns to fully licensed NBA cards for the first time since 2009, ushering in a new era through the landmark Fanatics-NBA exclusive trading card licensing agreement. Released October 23, 2025, this flagship 300-card set serves as the cornerstone for basketball collectors, featuring 45 rookie cards, 30 unique combo cards that showcase teammates together, and established superstars alongside legendary icons. The design mirrors the contemporary aesthetic used in 2025 Topps Baseball, creating visual consistency across Topps' flagship products while incorporating basketball-specific elements that resonate with collectors.

Hobby boxes deliver consistent value with 12 cards per pack across 20 packs, guaranteeing either an autograph or relic card in every box alongside numbered parallels and extensive insert content. Jumbo boxes ramp up the hit potential with 40 cards per pack across 10 packs, ensuring one autograph and one relic per box along with four numbered parallels, four 1980-81 Topps inserts, and 18 additional inserts creating premium breaking experiences. What truly sets this release apart is the inclusion of Victor Wembanyama's first licensed autograph cards, as the Spurs superstar joins Flagship Real One Autographs alongside other current stars like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum, and Chet Holmgren. Hobby boxes provide reliable hit content with guaranteed autograph or relic cards plus promo packs that add extra excitement to every box break.
